FEBI IAIN Pontianak and UIN Walisongo Strengthen Tridharma Collaboration

In an effort to strengthen collaboration in the field of Tridharma of Higher Education, the Dean of FEBI IAIN Pontianak collaborates with FEBI UIN Walisongo Semarang in a Cooperation agreement. The MoA activity was carried out on the sidelines of the AICIS 2024 activities at UIN Walisongo Semarang (2/2/24). On this occasion, Dr. Samsul Hidayat, MA expressed his gratitude for the willingness of the Dean of FEBI UIN Walisongo, Dr. H.M. Saifullah, M.Ag to become a strategic partner of FEBI IAIN Pontianak. Samsul hopes that this Cooperation agreement can be immediately followed up with joint activities, especially to meet international indicators in study program accreditation.

On this occasion, the Dean of FEBI UIN Walisongo Semarang also welcomed the partnership activities. “I hope we can immediately carry out tridharma activities together and synergistically, such as joint internship programs abroad,” said Saifullah. The two faculties have many similarities, both in terms of the number of programs and the number of students.

Currently, the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business of IAIN Pontianak and FEBI UIN Walisongo have 4 degree programs; Sharia Economics, Sharia Banking, Sharia Business Management and Sharia Accounting. These four programs are equally in demand by the community. This is because the job prospects for graduates are very wide.

Sharia Economics graduates can work as bank employees, civil servants, Islamic economists, school lecturers, business consultants, financial consultants, tax officials, entrepreneurs and financial analysts. Meanwhile, Sharia Banking graduates can work in banking as tellers, auditors, and customer service representatives. The job prospects are not limited to banking, graduates of this department can also occupy various positions in the company, ranging from staff, section head, microfinance administrator, manager to director. Sharia Banking graduates can also become researchers, even lecturers in banking.

Sharia Business Management graduates can become business managers, business development managers, entrepreneurs, marketing managers, project managers, risk managers, Sharia business consultants, bank employees, financial institution employees, academics in the field of Sharia business, and can even become teachers or lecturers. Meanwhile, Sharia Accounting graduates can become Sharia Supervisory Board, Financial Analyst, Internal Auditor, Accountant, Bank Employee, Zakat Institution. Accounting Manager, Account Payable, Tax Consultant, Financial Analyst, etc.
